A Guided Easter Meditation

WELCOME to Issue #187 of The Seedhead from Alex and Hannah at Dandelion Resourcing - a weekly confidence booster to help you step into naturally supernatural discipleship and mission!

This week let’s take some time out of the hustle and bustle, in order to focus for a few minutes on Jesus.

Hannah will lead us in an Easter meditation on the following passages:

Isaiah 6:1-8
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Philippians 2:5-11
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Before you start the video, be aware that as part of the meditation we’ll be taking communion, so have the elements to hand before you press play.

ALEX AND HANNAH ABSALOM

P.S. Alex is having surgery on Tuesday (April 2) to remove a nodule on his vocal cords. It’s been a problem for quite a while, and apparently is in a tricky location. However, he’s referred up to the top ENT doctor in LA (he has a clinic named after him and displays signed gratitude photos from movie stars and performers in his office!), so that is a blessing. Right now he’s scheduled for a 7.30am operation, hopefully going home by lunchtime. However, for the following 2 weeks he’s meant to completely rest his voice - silence, or very very gentle whispering only! We’d appreciate your prayers for this to all go well, and specifically for a complete restoration of the strength of his voice. Thank you!
