Mobilizing People for Mission

Interview with YWAM and The Send
evangelist Graham Marshall

  • Do you struggle with mobilizing people to live like missionaries?

  • Are you frustrated by the control that fear has over so many Christians?

  • Would you like to learn what might help overcome the barriers to people sharing their faith?

Graham and Rachel Marshall have spent a decade with YWAM and The Send as evangelists, equippers, and disciple-makers. They are also close family friends of ours and we can personally attest to their character, humility, and commitment to raising up as many as possible to reach the lost.

In the past 5 years, they have seen…

  • Over 320,000 impacted at their gospel events

  • 13,535 salvations

  • 119,190 believers make missional commitments

= they’re the real deal!

In this interview, Graham and Alex discuss how to:

  1. Mobilize people for mission

  2. Overcome fear when it comes to being a witness for Jesus

  3. Help Christians from being held back in sharing their faith

  4. Mobilize believers who are stuck in churchland

  5. Evangelize in the power of the Spirit

This is all very practical and down to earth - you’ll be inspired and equipped by Graham!

Reflect and Plan

  1. Is there any way fear is holding you back as a witness for Jesus? If so, take time to repent, give this fear to the Lord, and ask Him to replace it with a more profound love for Him and the lost.

  2. How can you do a better job of mobilizing other believers to share their faith more regularly? Who specifically in your life needs this help from you?

  3. Ask Jesus for one situation in this week ahead when you can intentionally step into the empowering of the Spirit with a lost person. See if He’ll nudge you towards something specific, which you can pray for in advance.
