Meet Hannah and Alex Absalom!
Welcome to Dandelion!
We’re English by birth, married and in church leadership for 30 years, and have 3 young adult sons and 2 daughters-in-law.
As young church planters in London, and then as pastors in the northern industrial English city of Sheffield, we learned many significant lessons about how to go and make disciples in the power of the Spirit in a culture that was rapidly becoming post-Christian.
Called as a family of missionaries to America in 2007, we have served in churches in Oklahoma City, NE Ohio, and Long Beach CA. Our boys are now young adults, each of them (and their wives) walk passionately with Jesus, every one a disciple-maker in their own right – for which we give so much amazed thanks to God!
We love to equip the wider church, and have spoken in person in 19 countries and over 25 US states (and more virtually!). For 6 years we have been serving through Dandelion Resourcing, working with a huge range of leaders, churches, and denominations. Alex has served as an Adjunct Professor in Spiritual Formation, and taught in D.Min programs at 4 other universities.

Naturally Supernatural Discipleship and Mission
From our days in Europe onwards, we have been privileged to coach, teach, preach and consult with large numbers of churches and leaders.
We especially concentrate on equipping the church in three areas:
1. Naturally Supernatural
The Western church is the best educated in history – and yet perhaps the least fruitful for the Kingdom. One of the reasons is our fear of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We will share with you Biblical teaching, faith-building stories, and proven practices that will allow the beautiful presence of the Spirit to add greater spiritual power and authority to your church’s ministry.
2. Discipleship
Starting with a counter-cultural understanding of the nature of discipleship, we will train and equip you with Biblical principles, multipliable values, and practical tools. Every church should be able to create a customized disciple-making pathway, appropriate to your specific context. Let us help you build that!
3. Mission
Most Christians don’t ever share their faith - or if they do so, it’s a in fearful or non-relational manner. We can show you how to reverse that downward spiral, and build a community of Christians who are at ease being witnesses for Jesus wherever God sends them. In particular, we bring immense expertise on missional communities/ micro churches/ house churches.
