Amazing Video Testimony of Angelic Encounter!

In issue #175 of The Seedhead we’re sharing an amazing testimony of an angelic encounter.
As you’ll recall, the word ‘angel’ (in both Hebrew and Greek) literally means ‘messenger’, and that seems to be one of the tasks that God assigns to them. In this account, an angel brought a word of great practical encouragement and faith-building impetus.
By way of context, the man sharing (Simon Thomas) is well known in the UK. These days he’s a sports presenter, but he first came to prominence on the iconic and long-running BBC children’s show Blue Peter. Famed for having their presenters do daring escapades (as well as some very down to earth practical ones!), this story comes from that time.
Let’s dive in…
“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14)
“Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’ So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.” (Acts 27:23-25)

We must make sure we have room in our theology for holy, intelligent, supernatural beings that don’t primarily live in this physical realm. They are part of God’s good creation, and will also be part of our eternal future in heaven.
This visible material realm is not the sole part of reality!
Reflect and Act
Have you ever had what you think was/ could have been an angelic encounter?
How would you respond if your Christian friend told you that they’d been spoken to by an angel?
How would you respond if your lost neighbor told you that they’d been spoken to by an angel?
As we step into a new year, be encouraged that Jesus is very real and He very much loves you!
“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11)
