Two Words to Transform How You Pray for Others

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people."
(1 Timothy 2:1)

Many people don’t feel confident about praying out loud for others. This is such a shame, because giving and receiving prayer together is one of the great joys of the Christian life!

Much of the problem is that we think prayer is an eloquence test, when in reality it’s a love one.

And it’s not even about what we can think to say. The Holy Spirit is delighted to give us things to share that will bring life, encouragement, and blessing to others!

In this 3 minute video, Hannah shares 2 words that will transform how even the most timid person prays in their small group. This content is gold!!

Homework

  1. Can you commit to pausing for 15-30 seconds before speaking each time you pray with someone?

  2. Will you likewise share with boldness and love what you sense the Spirit saying for them?
