How to Lead a Time of Waiting on the Holy Spirit
"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!"
(Isaiah 30:18)
One of the things we both love is the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Whether we are leading such a time, or on the receiving end, there is a tender sweetness about being part of a shared waiting upon Jesus, letting Him minister through the grace-filled presence of the Spirit.
It is awe-inspiring to see the weak strengthened, the weary refreshed, the burdened set free, the discouraged renewed, the lost found, the saddened encouraged, the sick healed, the oppressed delivered, and much much more.
This video is designed to equip YOU to start leading such moments!
Whether you are in your small group, house church, missional community, class, or youth group, this is wonderful way to facilitate an authentic experience of the Spirit. And if you lead weekend services, this is definitely something that will work there as well.
In this video, Alex first teaches through the goals of such ministry, and then unpacks the different stages of how he would actually lead a time of waiting on God.
Then after teaching, he moves into modeling how this looks and works (and if it works on Zoom, if will for sure be even better in person!). You can experience ministry in the Spirit, as well as learning how to lead it yourself.
